Spinner'd Minner Flies & Material Kit Sales
New Spinner'd Minner Lite Flies & Material Kit Sales
The Spinner'd Minner Flies and Material Kits on this page are the best producers that we have found so far
for as many species of fish and water conditions as possible. The kits are of different prices
because of the size of blade that is chosen and the materials that are used to build each pattern.
We guarantee that there is enough material in each kit to build 10 Spinner'd Minners of your chosen
size and pattern.
Spinner'd Minners in blade size #1 do not come with a material to wrap the hook shank like the
material kits for blade sizes of #2 and #3, because the #1 size blade
Spinner'd Minners are meant to be small. The patterns need to be short, so a
tail portion of the pattern is not need. Spinner'd Minners in blade sizes #2
and #3 are to represent larger minnows and shiners so they require a tail
portion and a hook shank wrap.
We suggest the following when choosing a Spinner'd Minner Material Kit:
1) In the Winter and early Spring, chose a larger sized blade and patterns with lots of flash
and bright colors. Why, because the water temperature is cold to the fish so the fish are cold. You have
to really get their attention to get them in an aggressive mood.
2) In the late Spring, early Summer, and late Fall a moderate size spinner blade pattern and less flash.
Why, because the water temperature is comfortable to the fish and it takes less size and less flash to
make them strike an imitation.
3) In the hot Summer and early Fall, choose a patter that has very little flash and smaller in size. Why,
because the water temperature is warm to the fish and too much flash and color will frighten them
away from a fly or pattern.
4) The "Policeman" Spinner'd Minner works in all water temperatures throughout the year in low-shade
areas, on windy choppy days, and riffles in all sizes of blades. A
Policeman pattern in size #3 blade will catch lots of bass
along shaded banks, early morning, and late in the evening in the hottest of summer months.
This pattern is the first choice of many of the fisherman that fish
Spinner'd Minner because it catches so many different species of fish
all year around.
5) The second greatest producing pattern is the Number 4 Spinner'd Minner. From Steelhead to Sunfish it catches them all,
especially in green colored water and/or over green bottoms.
